What does Edit Order's Flow connector do?
Our Shopify Flow connector gives you access to Edit Order actions that you can use with Shopify Flow's workflows. Use promotion and bundle/subscription actions as a growth strategy to streamline fulfillment and build customer loyalty through automation.
What's the difference between an action and a workflow?
Shopify Flow workflows are templates made up of three parts:
Trigger: An activity that activates the automation, i.e. “order placed.”
Condition: A rule for the workflow, i.e. “order total is over $100.”
Action: The action you'd like your workflow to perform, i.e. “add free samples to order.”
The action is where Edit Order shines! ✨ We created actions that boost your Shopify Flow workflows. Using our connector, you can set actions like:

✅ Replace a single bundle SKU with SKUs for all bundle products (early access)

What kinds of automation can I set up?
Currently, there are two types of automation available using Edit Order + Shopify Flow: promo automation and bundle fulfillment automation. With promo automation, set workflows to automatically add free items to your customers' orders. With bundle fulfillment automation, speed up your fulfillment process by automatically expanding bundles into their individual SKUs.

Do the automations work for cart promos?
Right now, the automations only edit the orders after they've been placed by a customer. The automations don’t add cart promos while items are in the cart.
Will it work with my fulfillment?
Because all fulfillment providers are different, we recommend you talk to your fulfillment team before setting up workflows with Edit Order actions.
Will automation cancel and/or duplicate orders?
No. Using Edit Order + Shopify Flow, you don't have to worry about cancelled or duplicate orders in your Shopify Flow automation workflow.
Are there limitations?
If you’re using third-party apps that are not compatible with Shopify Checkouts like a legacy version of ReCharge or the Amazon channel to create orders, these orders can not be edited through automation.
At the moment, bundle and promo automation are not available for multi-currency orders. If your store supports multiple currencies and you receive an order using a different currency from your store's default, Shopify Flow + Edit Order will not be able to edit that order.
Is it included in my current plan?
Edit Order automation actions for Shopify Flow are available to Shopify, Shopify Advanced, Shopify Plus merchants who are on our Professional and Premium Plus plan.
