Our story
In 2015, we were running our own consulting businesses—Andrew doing development work, Tu running a design agency. We'd collaborated on projects for brands like SeaVees, Johnson & Johnson, and WildFork. We kept running into the same problem on client projects: Shopify had no way to edit orders. Merchants needed it, customers needed it, but the platform just didn't have it.
So we built Cleverific to solve problems for brands. Eventually, we realized it needed to be more than a side project. Andrew went full-time on Cleverific in 2018. Tu followed in 2019. We're still solving the same core problem—helping merchants handle order changes—just in ways we never imagined back then.

Tu Pham, Cofounder
I worked on the agency side for 15 years, eventually starting my own, as an art director and strategist with brands like Adobe, Pantone, Denso, Apolis.
By 2019, I was working on Cleverific full-time. Design work taught me to listen to what people actually need, not just what they ask for. That's how we approach building Cleverific—solving the real problems merchants face.
Andrew Le, Cofounder
I started as a chemist, became a software engineer, and eventually found my way to building products that merchants actually need.
I'm also a Judo and Brazilian Jiujitsu black belt and 2018 BJJ World Champion—which taught me that mastery comes from consistent practice and paying attention to fundamentals. We apply that same thinking to Cleverific: focus on solving real problems well, listen to what merchants actually need, and keep improving the fundamentals.
